  • STD Test Express Clinic. There's a testing clinic on Telegraph in Berkeley, open M-F 7:30 AM - 6 PM and Saturday from 8-noon. If paying out of pocket, about $80/test. Same day appointment, cash and/or credit. no ID required for cash payments. Can take insurance, although not Medi-Cal or Medicaid.
  • Ann Chandler (Website) in Berkeley. Open the first Saturday of the month. 510-981-5350, at 830 University Ave., Berkeley, CA. 94710. 11 am - 2:30 pm
  • Planned Parenthood in West Oakland. Open some Saturdays until 2 pm, have to call to confirm! At 510-300-3800, 1682 7th Street, Oakland CA 94607. Walk in appointments are first come first serve.
  • Steamworks. 2107 4th Street, Berkeley CA 94710, 510-845-8992. Men only.
    • First Sunday of the month: 1-4 pm STD/HIV testing and outreach.
  • Magnet Free STD Testing. In San Francisco, for gay, bi, or trans men! But open Saturday, from 10 am - 6 pm. free STD & HIV testing and hepatitis vaccinations.

    • Saturday 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm, 9 pm - 1 am

  • LGBTQ Suitcase Clinic. Located at 2712 Telegraphy (@Derby). Only the 2nd and 4th Saturdays, confirm on FB! Can do a lot, due to actual doctor who can write prescritpions etc. Walk-in, from 12:30-3 pm. No access to labs or stuff like that though.
  • Terra Nova (Oakland) on Saturday. One Sunday a month. Beginning appointment at $75. (510) 534-5331
  • Access Health (Oakland) on Saturday and Sunday. Beginning appointment at $89. 510.500.9058. More detailed fee schedule. No insurance accepted. Located inside Milagros de Mexico, a supermarket! At 3351 International Blvd. Oakland, CA 94601. 510.500.9058. Can either walk in or call, although seems to like scheduling an appointment. CLOSED.
  • Highland Hospital
    • Same Day Clinic (Oakland). Call (510) 437-8500 starting at 6 am. On Saturday, is open til 3:30 pm.
  • Alta Bates ER.
  • CVS Minutes Clinic. (Walnut Creek). They do take insurance, and see a variety of things for adults and children over 18 months!!! Minor Illnesses, Minor Injuries, Skin Conditions, Wellness & Physicals, Screenings & Monitoring, Vaccinations & Injections, Labs & Tests. On Saturday and Sunday their hours are from 9-5:30, although get there before 5:15 to get seen.
  • Sutter Health East Bay Medical Foundation (Albany). 510-204-8130 for an appointment (family medicine) and 510-204-8180 for (ob/gyn). and evening appointments, Mon-Wed, from 5:30-8. Takes a variety of insurance, but should call ahead of time to confirm. Otherwise, appointments start at 130! (cheaper than Direct Urgent Care…)
  • Sutter Health Urgent Care. Berkeley, 510-204-5514. Monday-Friday: 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and Holidays: 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Walk-in and appointments are both cool, takes lots of different types of insurance as well! Sutter Urgent Care Open at night and over the weekend, takes a ton of different insurance plans, including Medi-Cal. Does not take Alameda Alliance for health or anthem blue cross. Cash and credit as well, but I doubt low-fee/sliding-scale. Number to call is 925-756-3499 for Antioch location, 510-247-6300 for Castro Valley. NO OB/GYN STUFF D:
  • Piedmont primary care. Their location in Piedmont is open every other Saturday but for appointments only. From 9 am to around 12 pm. Do a whole number of things, Primary care, acute care, in-office basic surgeries (ie. stitch removal, cyst removal, abcesses), take insurance, NO Medi-Cal! If no insurance, initial consult at $150, additional services on top of that.

Physicals

  • DOT physical exams. (800) 253-0875. 1440 Broadway, #715. $20-40 exams, depending on type. Open 7 days a week, from 8:30 am - 8:30 pm.
